Nobara’s nails lodge in the cursed mannequin’s head. She flicks her fingers,…
and the nails drive deeper, emitting powerful cursed energy that destroys the mannequin’s head. She notices movement and discovers a kid hiding behind a box. The kid refuses to come out.
Suddenly, a cursed spirit captures the kid, pointing its nails at his neck.
Nobara realizes the curse can think and sees it taking the kid hostage. Gojo and Megumi watch the scene unfold. Feeling pressured, Nobara thinks through her choices.
She drops her nails and hammer, surrendering to save the kid. Suddenly, Yuji appears, smashing through a wall and surprising everyone.
He cuts the cursed spirit’s arm that’s holding the kid hostage and rescues the child.
The cursed spirit starts running away, but Nobara takes out her straw doll. Gojo and Megumi see the cursed spirit jumping outside the building to escape.
Nobara uses the severed arm with his straw doll and attacks with a technique called “Resonance.” The fleeing spirit is suddenly impaled by a huge nail through its heart and defeated.
Nobara remembers Sairo from her village, who always treated her well.
Back to the present, she is amazed at how Yuji broke the wall. She tells Yuji she came to the city to escape country life and thanks him for saving them.
Nobara’s demeanor changes as she says she is being true to herself, but then she starts arguing with Yuji again.
Megumi and Gojo appear, and Gojo teases Megumi for being left out during the exorcism fight.
Meanwhile, some people see an egg-shaped apparition that is considered a special grade in West Tokyo.
