Kamo and Megumi engage in close combat, with Megumi breaking Kamo’s wooden weapon.

…Kamo, complimenting Megumi, reveals his intent to kill Yuji as a personal mission, not Gakuganji’s orders.

Kamo claims they share the burden of family inheritance, but Megumi disagrees, increasing his cursed energy. Suddenly, a frog shikigami appears behind Kamo but melts quickly.

Megumi then summons Max Elephant, and Kamo mounts an attack but is overwhelmed by a torrent of water from the elephant. Megumi presses his advantage, summoning Nue to attack.

Kamo, on the defensive, remembers his mother and throws a blood bag at Nue, releasing “Crimson Binding” to restrict its movements.

Amid their battle, a gigantic tree-like structure appears behind a building signaling an enemy attack. Both turn to see Toge Inumaki, who commands them to “Run Away.” Obeying, they flee.

From a distance, another character wielding an axe creates a curtain barrier, adding to the unfolding chaos.

Megumi strikes Kamo, breaking his wooden weapon. They pause fighting as Kamo keeps complimenting Megumi.
Kamo confesses to Megumi that he intends to kill Yuji, not because Gakuganji tells him, but because it's his mission.
Kamo tells Megumi that they are the same in inheriting the head of their families. Megumi denies.
Megumi is adamant that he disagrees with Kamo. He starts increasing his cursed energy.
Suddenly, a shikigami frog appears behind Kamo, startling him. The frog suddenly melts.
Megumi summons a shikigami Max Elephant after Kamo falls for the decoy.
Kamo mounts an attack, but the Max Elephant shikigami releases lots of water.
Kamo gets swept away by the volume and pressure of water. Megumi starts his attack.
Megumi summons the bird shikigami Nue and attacks Kamo, who is on the defensive.
Kamo remembers her mother and throws a bag of blood at Nue. The blood suddenly spreads.
Kamo releases a technique called "Crimson Binding" that binds Nue's movements as he lands on the ground.
Kamo and Fushiguro suddenly notice a gigantic tree-like structure behind the building.
Kamo and Megumi turn their attention to the gigantic tree-like structure and see Toge Inumaki.
Toge Inumaki commands "Run Away" to Kamo and Megumi. The two of them start running.
At a distance, another character wields an axe and starts hammering the ground with it.
This character, who looks like a butcher with an apron, creates a curtain barrier.
