JJK Chapter 27 – What if

Yuji confronts Mahito, asking his name. Mahito, disfiguring his hand, approaches without answering.

Junpei tries to intervene, but Mahito swiftly attacks Yuji, immobilizing him. Yuji urges Junpei to run, but Junpei insists Mahito isn’t bad.

Suddenly, Junpei recalls Mahito experimenting with souls. Mahito calls Junpei stupid and transfigures his head with “Idle Transfiguration.” Yuji watches in horror as Junpei transforms into a monster and attacks him.

Despite being hit, Yuji vows to help Junpei and calls for Sukuna’s aid.

Sukuna declines, reminding Yuji of their binding vow and laughing at his desperation. Yuji sees Sukuna and Mahito mocking him, realizing they will always be curses.

He then sees the transfigured Junpei attacking again.

Determined, Yuji punches Mahito, sending him flying to the stairs. Mahito initially laughs, believing the punch won’t affect him, but then realizes something.

He remembers that Yuji has two souls within him and can perceive the contours of souls.

Yuji, now serious, vows to defeat Mahito. Mahito just laughs at his declaration, unfazed by the threat.

Megumi Fushigiro, Junpei Yoshino, Yuji Itadori, Nobara Kugisaki.
Yuji asks Mahito about his name. Mahito just approaches them while disfiguring his hand.
Junpei tells Mahito to wait, but Mahito swiftly attacks Yuji.
Yuji gets immobilized and tells Junpei to run. But Junpei refuses, telling him Mahito is not a bad person.
Suddenly, Junpei remembers how Mahito experimented with people's souls. Mahito tells Junpei he is stupid.
Junpei's head is transfigured as Mahito attacks him with "Idle Transfiguration."
Yuji witnesses Junpei transform into a monster.
Transfigured Junpei attacks Yuji. Yuji vows to help him.
Yuji is hit by Junpei's attack. He calls for Sukuna and asks for his help fixing Junpei.
Sukuna declines and smirks that Yuji forgets about the binding vow.
Sukuna laughs, saying that Yuji is his in the future.
Yuji imagines Sukuna and Mahito laughing at him.
Yuji remembers that they will always be curses as they laugh at him.
Yuji sees the transfigured Junpei in front of him. Mahito laughs at Junpei.
Mahito suddenly gets hit in the face by Yuji's punch and gets thrown away to the stairs.
Mahito laughs, thinking Yuji's punch won't affect him. However, he notices something.
Mahito remembers there are two souls inside Yuji and that Yuji can now perceive the contours of the soul.
Yuji seriously vows to defeat Mahito, but Mahito just laughs.
