Angel reveals crucial information about the colony’s cursed energy levels and her connection to Hana Kurusu.

The narrative then jumps to a disturbing scene of a cursed spirit using soldiers as bait to catch fish-like cursed spirits.

A flashback introduces a young Hana Kurusu and her encounter with a young Fushiguro and Gojo. This memory ties into the present, where Kurusu claims their meeting was fated.

The chapter concludes with a poignant conversation between Itadori and Fushiguro about their evolving team dynamics, interrupted by Kurusu’s arrival.

Takaba’s comical appearance adds a light-hearted touch to the intense narrative.

In an old, broken building, two kids walk past another kid eating something.
The three kids stand before a huge cursed spirit inside an old, worn-out structure.
Megumi Fushiguro, Yuji Itadori, Angel, Hana Kurusu, and Fumihiko Takaba interrogate a soldier about their mission.
The soldier reveals their aim. Kurusu says the non-sorcerers will fill the colony with cursed energy needed for the ritual.
Itadori suggests helping them. Takaba slightly objects because the military is abducting them. Angel says, "Don't bother."
Angel reveals that Tokyo No. 1 is already full of cursed energy, so there's no point in helping them. Itadori objects.
Angel reveals that she and Kurusu are one and will not help them if they are in danger. Itadori tells her not to be bossy.
Angel says it's unpleasant. Cut to the scene, a soldier is hooked with a line.
A cursed spirit is fishing and uses the soldier as bait to capture another cursed spirit that looks like a fish.
It catches a fish cursed spirit and lets its little ones devour it.
The cursed spirit takes a soldier who is still alive and plans to hook it as bait.
The cursed spirit is about to hook the soldier. Meanwhile, Itadori and Fushiguro are running in a hallway.
Back to the first scene with a little girl, the young girl followed a white, fluffy dog.
The girl with her white dog stands inside a shed. The dog suddenly walks toward the young Fushiguro, accompanied by Gojo.
Fushiguro embraces the dog and continues walking with it and Gojo. They left the girl behind.
That young girl is Hana Kurusu. Kurusu (Angel) helps the soldier.
Kurusu says she helps people and that their first childhood meeting was fated. The scene cuts to Fushiguro.
Itadori tells Fushiguro that since he joined him, he is afraid of her replacing Kugisaki.
Fushiguro and Itadori keep talking when Hana Kurusu comes down, winking at them. Takaba comically appears in the last panel.
