As the fight intensifies, Daido’s search for a katana leads him to Maki’s sword, which mysteriously chooses him as its wielder.

Empowered by the katana, Daido lands a powerful slash on Naoya. The sword actually selects him as its true wielder, shocking everyone present.

In a surprising twist, Daido, guided by Maki, manages to slice Cursed Spirit Naoya in half, a feat Maki herself couldn’t accomplish earlier.

This development causes Maki to reflect on her differences from Toji Zen’in.

The chapter concludes with a tense moment as the other player, Miyo, prepares to attack Maki with his sumo skills, leaving readers on the edge of their seats.

An old, muscular man named Hagane Daido, a Culling Game player is walking in the city looking for a katana.
Hagane Daido walks everywhere while shouting "KATANA." He finds a knife called "First Form: Water Surface Slash."
Another man with a weird pointy hairstyle named Rokujushi Miyo makes a sumo stance, wanting to play sumo.
Rokujushi Miyo asks youths, student girls, and even a dog to play sumo with him.
Rokujushi Miyo cries on the ground while bending over as an old man sees him because no one wants to play sumo.
Rokujushi Miyo suddenly crashes into an old lady's house who watches TV.
Rokujushi Miyo starts packing his belongings to travel to Tokyo but walks in the opposite direction.
Back to the fight, Kamo notices Miyo and Daido. Cursed Spirit Naoya attacks him, but Maki cuts his tentacle off.
Cursed Spirit Naoya sees Maki. Kamo tells Maki she has not fully recovered yet. Suddenly, Daido yells, "KATANAAA."
Daido approaches when Maki's sword suddenly lets go of her by itself after Daido sees it.
Daido holds the sword, and Kamo, Cursed Spirit Naoya, Maki, and Daido look shocked!
Daido holds the sword, and he suddenly emits a powerful lethal aura.
Suddenly, Daido slashes Cursed Spirit Naoya. Naoyo got git near his shoulder. Daido just smirks.
Daido and Maki realized that the katana chose him as its wielder. He is shocked.
Maki tells Daido to duck when suddenly, Cursed Spirit Naoya attacks him. He managed to evade.
Daido asks Maki if there is something there. Maki asks if he can see it. Daido raises his sword to try to slash it.
Surprisingly, Daido slashes Cursed Spirit Naoya in half!
Miyo asks why Maki didn't slash the enemy in the first place. Maki is shocked because she wasn't able to cut Naoya before.
Maki starts comparing her with Toji Zen'in. Behind her, Miyo prepares to attack her with sumo wrestling.
