JJK Chapter 17 – Boring

Aoi Todo makes a fighting stance, waiting for Megumi Fushiguro’s answer about his type of girl.

…Aoi believes a person’s taste reveals everything about them.

Megumi answers that he has no preference while imagining a pretty woman. Aoi gets mad, finds Megumi boring, and prepares to attack.

Aoi punches Megumi, throwing him outside. Mai Zen’in stops Nobara Kugisaki from intervening. Mai and Nobara start chatting, with Nobara pissing Mai off. Mai points a gun at Nobara’s stomach.

Meanwhile, Aoi approaches Megumi, who remembers a rumor about Aoi defeating powerful enemies.

Megumi uses Nue to summon shikigami toads called “The Well’s Unknown Abyss” to fight Aoi. Aoi dashes behind Megumi, catching him off guard and holding him from behind.

Aoi slams Megumi with a suplex.

Megumi jumps away, but Aoi catches his head and slams it into a wall. Aoi attacks Megumi, tearing holes in several floors.

Suddenly, Aoi is immobilized by the toads. Megumi gets free as the toads’ tongues restrain Aoi. Toge appears, telling Aoi not to move.

Panda starts punching Aoi, who backs off after seeing him and Toge.

Aoi calms down and stops attacking. Mai shoots Nobara in the belly, and she falls to the ground. Maki appears and confronts her sister Mai.

Mai points a gun at Nobara's stomach. Aoi approaches Megumi, who is recovering from the recent attack.
Fushiguro remembers a rumor about Aoi Todo defeating powerful enemies. Fushiguro uses Nue to summon shikigami.
Fushiguro summons toads called "The Well's Unknown Abyss" to fight Aoi Todo.
Aoi swiftly dashes behind Megumi, who gets caught off guard. Aoi holds Megumi's body from behind.
Aoi slams Megumi using a suplex. Megumi jumps away, but Aoi catches his head with his palm.
Aoi slams Megumi's head into a wall.
Aoi attacks Megumi upwards, tearing holes in several floors of the building. Suddenly, Aoi gets immobilized by the toads.
Megumi gets free from Aoi's grip as the toads' tongues restrain him. Toge appears, telling Aoi not to move.
Aoi is unable to move, and Panda starts punching him in the face.
Aoi backs off after seeing Panda and Toge.
Aoi calms down and stops attacking after Toge and Panda show up.
Mai shoots Nobara in the belly, and she falls lying on the ground. Maki appears and confronts her sister Mai.
End of Chapter with some notes regarding the use of smack talks in the manga.
