JJK Chapter 147 – Even Pandas

In JJK Chapter 147, a human hand holds a Panda’s hand as they walk.

Masamichi Yaga is imprisoned while an old man questions him about how Panda sustains its cursed energy despite being a doll.

Yaga refuses to explain. He recalls a teddy bear named Takeru trying to cheer him up. Yaga tells Takeru he’ll be gone for a while, leaving him in the forest with his friends while telling him his mother will come.

Yaga’s cursed dolls say they’ll miss him.

Meanwhile, Kusakabe frees Panda, who was used to lure Yaga out.

Yaga meets a man and woman in a wheelchair, revealed to be Kusakabe’s sister, who recognizes Takeru as her son.

That night, a man confronts Yaga about creating artificial cursed spirits. Gakuganji appears, easily defeating Yaga. Yaga reveals the secret of making self-sustaining cursed dolls.

Panda arrives, finding Yaga injured. Gakuganji readies to fight, but Panda ignores him, approaching Yaga and crying, showing he’s different from humans.

The old man asks how Panda, a doll, sustains its cursed energy and if he can make one. Yaga says no.
Yaga remembers sitting with a teddy bear doll, talking to him, and trying to cheer him up.
Yaga tells the bear named Takeru that he'll be gone for some time and that his mother will be there in the forest with him.
Yaga peeks at a small makeshift house under a tree and sees his cursed dolls tell him they will miss him.
Cut to the scene, Kusakabe slashes Panda's ropes to free him, telling him he was used as bait to draw Yaga out.
Back to Yaga, a man with a woman in a wheelchair approaches him, asking for Takeru's support.
Takeru stands behind Yaga and notices the woman as his mother. The woman is shocked, realizing the doll sounds like her son.
The woman, revealed to be Kusakabe's sister, embraces Takeru. Yaga tells Kusakabe not to tell anyone Takeru.
Meanwhile, Yaga walks alone at night and sees a man standing atop the streetlight.
The man wants to defeat Yaga because he has a death sentence.
The man asks how to make an artificial cursed spirit. Gakuganji suddenly appears with an electric guitar to fight Yaga.
Cut to the scene, Gakuganji easily defeats Yaga. He tells the other man to leave him. The man complies.
Yaga tells Gakuganji how to make a self-sustaining, self-aware, artificial cursed doll.
Principal Yaga tells Gakuganji the secret. Suddenly, Panda arrives, seeing Yaga hurt with Gakuganji in front of him.
Gakuganji prepares to fight the angry Panda, but Panda just walks past him. Panda approaches Yaga.
Gakuganji asks Panda why he doesn't fight him. Panda says he is not like humans, and he starts crying.
The street lamp with moths flying around it is shown as Panda cries so hard.
