JJK Chapter 136 – The Shibuya Incident, Part 53

Spoiler Summary [Click to show or hide]:
Yuki Tsukumo confronts Pseudo-Geto, asking if he remembers their discussion about a world…

…without curses. Tsukumo believes humans will break away from cursed energy, while Pseudo-Geto thinks optimizing it is key.

They argue over their principles, with Tsukumo pointing out flaws in Pseudo-Geto’s method, suggesting that other nations might attack Japan for monopolizing cursed energy.

Pseudo-Geto dismisses this, revealing his true aim is to unleash uncontrollable chaos and draw out human potential.

Itadori informs Tsukumo that Pseudo-Geto absorbed Mahito. Pseudo-Geto activates “Idle Transfiguration,” displaying his cursed technique in the sky.

He thanks Itadori for helping Mahito grow and explains he can remotely cast the technique. Meanwhile, Tsumiki Fushiguro wakes up in a hospital with strange markings on her forehead.

Pseudo-Geto explains he has altered some people’s brains to either be strong vessels or use cursed techniques, choosing them carefully to awaken and fight each other.

Tsukumo wants to fight Pseudo-Geto, but Itadori is still too weak to move. Suddenly, a huge upheaval occurs near Itadori, and Uraume feels poisoned.

Choso, Itadori, Momo, Panda, and Kamo start moving despite the ice, while Pseudo-Geto reveals his sorcerer contracts were voided when he took Geto’s body.

Massive cursed spirits emerge from Pseudo-Geto as Itadori and Choso face him. Pseudo-Geto flexes his cube and begins to escape.
