Overwhelmed with guilt, he cries, unable to forgive himself. Suddenly, Mahito attacks, but Todo quickly switches Nitta’s position with Mahito, missing his attack.

Mahito is stunned by the switch, giving Todo the chance to kick him away.

As Mahito is thrown towards Nitta, Todo switches their positions again, leaving Mahito amazed by Todo’s technique. Itadori begins to stand up as Todo reminds him that as long as they live, their fallen friends’ spirits remain undefeated.

Todo asks Itadori what he has been entrusted with, prompting Itadori to reflect and gather his resolve.

Todo charges at Mahito while Nitta treats his injuries, informing him that he has also treated Kugisaki and plans to retreat with her for better care.

Mahito tries to trap Todo with a net-like transformation but Todo escapes.

Todo lectures Itadori that as long as they live, their defeated friends will not truly have been defeated!
Todo asks Itadori what he has been entrusted with. Itadori ponders the question as he stands up.
Itadori dashes to attack Mahito. Meanwhile, Nitta matches Itadori's injuries.
Nitta tells Itadori that he also treated Kugisaki and will retreat with her to treat her better.
Mahito's body changes to something like a net to trap Todo, but Todo escapes. Mahito creates his double.
Mahito is surprised at Todo's technique. He attacks again, this time, with a transfigured human planted behind Todo.

Suddenly, Itadori appears in front of Mahito as he switches positions with Todo. Itadori prepares to punch him.
